This '72 Javelin SST, belonging to Roger S. of Massachusetts (his lovely assistant in cleaning the car is Kim Petrelis), was the
favorite car in the show for both my brother and myself. The
cleanliness of the mods was terrific, the modifications choices often surprising
but always pleasing, and the stout 401 (backed by a 4-speed and 4.11 gears) rumbled with a sound much like my own
Javelin's mill. It made me wish my car was ready to show.

The stock turn signals were lost when the front spoiler was added, so trailer
side-marker lites were added into the stock grille. The bumpers had their bolt
heads shaved before being painted to match the body.

The stock gauges and dash face were tossed in favor of hi-quality aftermarket
units on a brushed-aluminum face. The underhood was cleaned up and treated
to lots of chrome, colored anodized connections and braided steel lines....and a pair of quads!
