My 1986 AMC Eagle Sport Wagon

This Eagle was sold in 2000.
I bought this '86
Sport Wagon in March, 1999 from the original owner.
It's a 258cid six backed by the uncommon 5-speed Manual Trans.
It's extremely well optioned, including the gauge package, power windows and
locks,
tilt, air and cruise, rear defogger and luggage rack (the rack was removed by
the prior
owner and is safely stored away).

It runs very well and breezed thru New Jersey State inspection (everything but
a DNA test).

The wheels seen in these pics are a bit of a mystery, as the owner claims it
came with them,
yet they are Jeep-logo wheels and caps!! He had ordered the largest
optional tires available,
and this is what he got when he picked the car up!
One theory is that the factory neglected to install the bigger tires, and the
dealer,
pressed for time, simply swapped tires (and the wheels they were on!) from a
Jeep vehicle on the lot before the buyer arrived....but who knows?!?!

Here's a few of the sick thoughts my brother and I have had.
NO, I do not plan to do ANY of
this to the car on this page!

This Eagle is my current 'spare'...the twin of my current project wagon.

This is the SX/4 that started it all...my first Eagle.

This is the SX/4 I had in 1999, sold to a local woman last fall, it was
recently sold again to a Chrysler representative..as a toy.

This is a parts car I got rid of in 2000.
